#TeamWater

The MrBeast campaign landing page

Frontend Engineer2025

Problem

I shipped the creator-recruitment landing page for MrBeast's #TeamWater charity campaign. The campaign raised $40M in a month.

Role

Revmatics handed me a brand book, the campaign logo, the fonts, and a designer to partner with. MrBeast's team handled the donation processor. The page I built was for recruiting other creators to help fundraise.

Approach

Custom layout on top of the page builder, custom animations, GTM and meta tag wiring, domain and subdomain setup. We shipped within a few days of getting the brief.

What mattered most was performance. Mobile and desktop both had to load fast under campaign-scale traffic, and the Lighthouse scores had to back that up. Another engineer set up dedicated hosting capacity for the traffic spikes.

Mid-campaign updates were small. Copy changes as the creator count climbed, refreshed hero imagery as new assets came in.

Outcome

Tens of thousands of pageviews a day during the campaign. Nothing broke.

Stack

JavaScript, custom animations, Google Tag Manager.
